Clare Nazerali

Director

Read Bio

Having joined the team as a part time Co-ordinator in 2014 after having her first child, Clare thought the role would be a nice, meaningful job on the side that enabled her to spend time with her children in their early years.

Instead, being involved in Home-Start’s specialist, connection-based family support model, further developed Clare’s deep-seated belief in the power of communities to enable positive change within vulnerable families. Coupled with the knowledge of the huge impact that enabling a positive start has on children’s life outcomes, Clare took on any opportunity to support HSH in its ambition to provide the highest quality support possible.

In 2021, when HSH’s Trustees restructured the organisation, Clare applied to the new role of Director, excited by the opportunity of bringing her previous experience of working in Charity and Voluntary Sector Development to an organisation she believes in so passionately!

Clare’s enthusiastic leadership of HSH drives a culture of collaboration, connection and enablement and a drive for HSH to do all it can to support Hillingdon’s community in enabling families to provide children with the best possible start in life.

Tanya has worked for Home-Start Hillingdon since 2003. She manages and oversees HSH’s finances and the day-to-day running of our office operations, communications and monitoring systems. She also provides support to both the staff team and board of trustees to ensure they have all they need to operate as effectively as possible.

Tanya loves how varied her job is: no two days are the same and there is always something new to learn.

A particular favourite of Tanya’s role is meeting new volunteers joining the team and hearing the success stories of the difference we are making to the lives of families and thinks the best thing about being part of HSH is the feeling of being one big family.
