Our goal? To build parenting confidence, strengthen family connections, and ensure families can continue accessing the right support even after our time with them ends.

Types of Support

Volunteer Support

We match families with a trained volunteer who visits weekly for 2–3 hours for up to 6 months. Support is mainly for children aged 0–3, but we help families with 3–5-year-olds when possible.

Direct Staff Support

For families with more complex needs, our Family Support Worker and Coordinators offer focused support for up to 4 months to help get things back on track.

Student Social Work Support

Under expert guidance, student social workers provide extra hands-on support while gaining valuable experience. Families benefit from fresh perspectives and additional resources.

Dad Matters

We support dads of newborns with drop-ins at maternity centres, 1:1 peer support, and guidance on parenting, mental health, and local services. As part of the national Dad Matters network, we offer both local and online support.

Advice & Signposting

If we’re not the right fit, we’ll do our best to connect families with other services, resources, and support networks that can help them move forward.
